mattToday has been a good day, a lot more relaxed than yesterday. It had a more typical vacation feel. I spent the morning at Mount Rushmore, then went into Keystone and Rapid City for a little touristy shopping, and to pick up a few items.
Mount Rushmore was amazing, the sheer amount of rock that they moved to make this enormous sculpture is mind boggling. As you will see, another cloudless morning, the sky here has been amazing. I took the presidential trail, it’s about a half mile loop, with over 240 steps, but as you’ll see you get some different views, and a whole lot closer. I hope you enjoy this little taste.
Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 92 here, so that sounds like a good day to take an auto tour in Custer State Park, may do a little fishing in the morning before it gets too hot.
